Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Safety focused individual
Detailed oriented with the ability to multi-task and juggle multiple activities at once
Good written and verbal communication skills
Ability to follow instructions and communicate issues
Ability to listen and document maintenance activities as needed for log
Ability to work alone yet stay motivated and busy
Ability to communicate through email
Okay with little overtime, but willing to work if needed
Maintaining the cleanliness, tidiness and safety of the tool‑crib
Locate, document and distribute items to those needing help
Answering calls over the radio and phone as needed
Stock as needed, accepting delivery of inventory
Cycle counting and confirming inventory, inspecting inventory
Communicate tickets received for re‑order
Marking and labeling stock
Storing inventory in an accessible manner
Change location and correct stock as needed
Ability to operate a forklift and electronic pallet jack
Building, organizing and moving of shelves as needed
Requirements
High School Diploma/GED or Higher required
Tool Crib/Warehouse Experience preferred
Manufacturing Experience preferred
Customer Service Experience
Dispatch Experience (Not required)
Microsoft Office Knowledge
JDE Edwards experience preferred
MP2 Software knowledge
Ability to use email effectively
Physical Requirements
Standing/Walking – Frequently stand or walk throughout the shift, including on concrete or uneven surfaces.
Lifting/Carrying – Regularly lift and carry tools or equipment weighing 23-30 lbs; occasionally heavier with assistance.
Reaching/Handling – Frequent use of hands and arms to handle tools, label inventory, operate computer terminals, or access high/low storage areas.
Bending/Stooping – Must frequently bend or stoop to retrieve or store items on lower shelves.
Climbing – May need to use ladders or step stools to access higher storage locations.
Visual Acuity – Sharp vision required for reading part numbers, tool labels, and using computer systems; may also require identifying tool wear or damage.
Manual Dexterity – Good hand coordination for handling small parts, labeling, or using hand tools.
Environmental Exposure – Tolerate noise, dust, temperature fluctuations, and proximity to forging equipment or heavy machinery.
PPE Use – Must be able to wear and properly use personal protective equipment (steel‑toe boots, safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, etc.).
