Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Part-Time / PRN
Grand Villa of Port Charlotte is seeking a dedicated and compassionate State-Certified Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our senior living community. Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct nursing care to residents in accordance with physician orders and established care plans
Monitor residents’ health status and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare team members
Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
Assist with activities of daily living and ensure residents’ comfort and safety
Document care provided and maintain accurate, timely records
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans
Adhere to all state and federal regulations, as well as facility policies and procedures
Skills and Qualifications:
Valid State Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license
Current CPR certification
Prior experience in senior care or long-term care preferred but not required
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Compassionate, patient, and respectful attitude towards residents
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Flexibility to work various shifts as needed
