Buck & Rider is a Seafood Eatery and Oyster Bar, known for the freshest seafood in Phoenix. Our culinary program is constantly evolving, and we are growing our sushi program to bring guests an exceptional dining experience.
Day In The Life
Prepare sushi, sashimi, and specialty rolls with accuracy and consistency
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times
Engage with guests at the sushi bar in a friendly and professional manner, providing product knowledge when appropriate
Ensure fish quality, freshness, and proper handling standards are always upheld
Work efficiently to keep pace with a high-volume restaurant and team service environment
Collaborate closely with the culinary team to execute menu offerings and specials
Follow health department standards, food safety guidelines, and all company sanitation policies
Perform additional prep and kitchen duties as needed

Sushi preparation experience preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, team environmentStrong communication and hospitality skills
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and bend frequently from the waist
Must be able to stand for long periods
