Overall Job Summary The Field Activity Support Team (FAST) Team Member travels to stores within an assigned district to own and execute “start to finish” variable tasks such as planograms, merchandise & fixture assembly, and signage maintenance. The FAST Team Member interacts with customers and Team Members, delivering a Legendary Customer Experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Min 5%)

Maintain regular and predictable attendance.

Work scheduled shifts and be flexible for varied hours, days, nights, and overtime.

Communicate proactively and regularly with District FAST Supervisor on work completion, issues, and offer solutions.

Complete planograms and resets accurately and timely.

Maintain visual merchandise standards.

Perform store specific measurements.

Complete store layout initiatives.

Perform accurate cycle counts.

Complete Tractor Way top cap process.

Hang store signage.

Assemble merchandise, fixtures and PDQs.

Perform detailed recovery and review planogram integrity.

Deliver Legendary Customer Service through GURA:

Greet the Customer.

Uncover Customer’s Needs & Wants.

Recommend Product Solutions.

Ask to Add Value & Appreciate the Customer.

Ensure the customer has a Legendary shopping experience that differentiates from the competition.

Provide peak coverage as needed (e.g., Day After Thanksgiving).

Complete other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Prior retail and/or merchandising experience.

Preferred: Farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding knowledge.

Must be 18 years of age or older and possess a valid driver’s license.

Must be able to read, write and count accurately.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills or Abilities

Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Basic computer skills.

Strong interpersonal skills and ability to resolve issues ethically and with minimal conflict.

Self-directed, able to complete assignments with little to no assistance.

Working Conditions

Indoor with moderate noise; outdoor lots hard surfaces. Lighting and temperature adequate.

Work shifts vary, typically no less than 4 hours, may exceed 8 hours.

Travel between store locations required, often for long periods.

Promote a safe and productive work environment, adhere to safety training and guidelines.

Physical Requirements

Travel to support district needs.

Push/pull merchandise up to 2000 pounds with proper equipment.

Occasionally lift or reach overhead.

Frequently stand, kneel, twist, crouch, squat, bend, stoop, climb ladders.

Access all areas of the store safely.

Operate store equipment such as computer, cash register.

Read, write, count accurately for documentation.

Communicate effectively with team members and customers.

Handle contact with birds/poultry.

Complete required training.

Operate equipment: dolly, handtruck, forklift, baler, etc.

Position is non-sedentary.

Location & Salary Newton, NC – $71,930.00–$98,904.00
