Description Assistant Boys Basketball Coach
– Spectrum High School Spectrum High School is seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to assist in leading, managing, and mentoring our Boys’ Basketball program as the Assistant Coach. This is an exciting opportunity to work with motivated student-athletes, build a competitive team, and contribute to the overall development of our boys’ basketball program.
Key Responsibilities:
Create a climate that integrates sportsmanship and competitive athletics
Develop positive sportsmanship, attitudes, and skills in the team
Develop positive motivation in the team
Provide a climate to facilitate participant character growth
Conduct orientation programs for parents, athletes, and coaches
Communicate effectively with student-athletes and parents
Develop positive team dynamic and interactions
Qualifications:
Strong basketballknowledge and understanding of the game
Previous coaching experience at the high school or collegiate level is preferred.
Compensation:
$1,000
