What You’ll Do Grand River Health Main Campus is seeking a dedicated Member Services Representative Pre-Authorization to join our team in Rifle, CO. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring a smooth and efficient patient experience by handling insurance verification. If you have strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills, this position offers a great opportunity to contribute to quality patient care while working in a supportive and dynamic healthcare environment.
Responsibilities
Obtain and verify necessary demographic and billing information, updating records accurately in theMeditech system.
Verify insurance benefits, including precertification/authorization for inpatient/outpatient surgical patients, cardiopulmonary services, attended sleep studies, and all clinical outpatient MRI’s, CT’s, and similar diagnostics.
Notify patients and guarantors to secure financial arrangements prior to services being provided.
Cross-train with other members of the Patient Access team to assist with registration duties as needed.
Perform a variety of tasks and other duties as assigned.
Who We’re Looking For
Previous experience in patient registration, insurance verification, or pre-authorization preferred.
Familiarity with Meditech or similar healthcare information systems is a plus.
Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients, guarantors, and healthcare staff.
Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
What We Offer Our total rewards package includes
Pay Range:
$20.00 - $29.18/hour (based on experience)
Shift Differentials: $2–$4/hour for nights and weekends

Compensation may vary outside this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience.
