Laundry Aide - Join our Award Winning Team!
Valley View Care Center, a SILVER National Quality Award winner, is looking for a Laundry Aide. The Laundry Aide is responsible for collecting and sorting soiled linen, loading and unloading washing machines, folding clean linen, counting the amount of linen processed each day, delivering clean laundry to assigned units, and cleaning and sanitizing the work area, including machines, worktables, and sorting areas.
You will earn up to $14.60 starting wages: $13.75 per hour starting wages, plus $0.85 per hour Hero/Hazard Pay, plus yearly wage increases.

Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English.
Ability to communicate effectively with residents, physicians, visitors, and all facility personnel.
Excellent customer service skills with a commitment to delivering excellent, passionate, innovative care.
You are a team player, dedicated to supporting your team members and getting the job done.
How You Will Help People Every Day
Sort soiled linen, load and unload washers and dryers.
Operate computer‑operated washers and dryers according to operating procedures.
Sort and fold clean linen accurately and in a timely manner.
Place clean linen in a delivery cart and deliver to appropriate units, using caution when pushing carts.
