Job Responsibilities
Install and basic programming of fire alarm systems and devices
Inspection of fire alarm and related systems
Working knowledge of low voltage electrical systems
Troubleshoot and repair alarm system malfunctions
Maintain accurate records of service calls and completed work
Excellent customer service
Job Requirements To qualify for the Fire Alarm Technician position, you must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience working with fire alarm systems.
NICET Certification Fire Alarm Level 1 or higher required level 2 preferred
Thorough knowledge of NFPA 72 requirements and electrical codes
Ability to climb ladders and lift 50 lbs.
Proficiency with computer skills, MS Excel, Email
Strong customer service skills and communications
Valid driver's license and clean driving record
Ability to pass background check
Pay $30.00 - $38.00 per hour
