Position Overview As a
Security Guard - Flex Armed Patrol
in
Jacksonville, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as utilities. You will monitor and patrol utility locations to deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication.

Pay Rate: $18.25 / Hour

DayTime: Tue 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM

What You’ll Do
Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and problem‑solving.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor and report any unusual or suspicious activity within the utilities environment.
Maintain a visible presence and interact professionally with employees, visitors, and contractors.
Follow all Allied Universal policies and procedures, and site‑specific protocols.
Assist with access control and verify credentials of individuals entering restricted areas.
Document all incidents and activities according to site and company requirements.
Minimum Requirements
At least one year of armed security, law enforcement, or military experience.
Proof of high school diploma or GED.
At least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Subject to background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Subject to drug screening as permitted by law.
Participation in industry‑specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements as required by state or local laws.
A valid driver’s license will be required only for driving positions.
