Candidates are required to work together with their co‑teachers on completing daily activities for the classroom, which include but are not limited to implementing curriculum, changing diapers, feeding, cleaning, and sanitizing. Hourly pay varies depending on experience and degree level, ranging from $12 to $16 per hour. Qualifications
Must meet basic requirements of local and state childcare regulatory agency
Previous teaching or assistant teaching position in a licensed early childhood program preferred but not required
Knowledge of the social, emotional, and creative needs of young children
Must be able to lift 35 pounds in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations

Duties
Work collaboratively with co‑teachers to complete daily classroom activities
Support curriculum implementation and child‑centered learning experiences
Assist with diaper changes, feeding, cleaning, and sanitization of the classroom
Ensure a safe and healthy environment for all children
Adhere to all local and state childcare regulations and policies
Requirements
High school diploma or GED
18+ years of age
A comprehensive criminal background check
Must meet basic requirements of local and state childcare regulatory agency
Previous teaching or assistant teaching position in a licensed early childhood program preferred but not required
