Position Summary The Order Picker Clerk is responsible for accurately selecting, preparing, and organizing merchandise for store replenishment or customer orders in a timely and efficient manner. This role supports Daiso USA’s commitment to providing high-quality products by ensuring all orders meet accuracy, quantity, and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Accurately pick and pull merchandise according to order sheets, pick tickets, or RF scanner instructions.
Inspect products for quality, damage, or discrepancies before packing.
Prepare and stage completed orders for shipment, ensuring they are correctly labeled and securely packaged.
Operate warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, carts) safely and efficiently.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with company and safety guidelines.
Assist with inventory counts, stock replenishment, and product organization.
Communicate any inventory shortages, damages, or issues to the Warehouse Supervisor.
Follow all company policies and OSHA safety regulations.
Perform additional duties as assigned to support warehouse operations.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous warehouse, order picking, or retail stockroom experience a plus.
Ability to read and understand pick lists, invoices, and shipping documents.
Basic math skills and attention to detail for order accuracy.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet productivity standards.
Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs., stand, bend, and walk for extended periods.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, or overtime as needed.
Warehouse setting with exposure to varying temperatures.
Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting.
