Boiler & Heating Service Dispatcher

Responsibilities
Use/maintain dispatch board in BuildOps to schedule and coordinate all service calls (emergency and planned)
Create follow up service tickets as needed
Coordinate with Field Supervisor/Technicians to ensure current calls are complete/closed out
Confirm after hour calls were serviced and tickets updated
Main point of contact with Building Supers regarding service/maintenance/repairs schedule
Contact Superintendents when jobs are completed
Contact supply houses and order parts needed by technicians
Maintain on‑call schedule and keep technicians aware
Verify Daily Timesheets and attendance records including call outs, vacations, and personal days
Assists the Service Assistants in the daily duties of meeting customer demands
Qualifications
Boiler knowledge is required
Outstanding customer service skills
Ability to Multitask
Organized
Routing/Dispatch Experience Required
Computer skills
High School diploma or GED
Experience effectively managing people
Must have experience dispatching in similar industries: elevator service, fire/sprinkler service, plumbing, HVAC or heating service.
