Position Overview RLCA is hiring a passionate Middle School English Language Arts (ELA) Teacher for the 2025–2026 school year.
We’re looking for someone who loves teaching language and literature, connects well with middle school students, and leads with strong Christian values. The ideal candidate will guide students academically while helping them grow as responsible, faith-filled individuals.
What You’ll Do
Teach engaging ELA lessons that align with school standards and biblical principles
Support student growth through thoughtful instruction, activities, and discussion
Create a positive and structured classroom environment rooted in Christian values
Adapt lessons to meet the needs of diverse learners
Partner with families, staff, and administration to support each student’s success
Model a growing relationship with Jesus Christ in word and deed
Take part in school events, staff meetings, and ongoing professional development
What You’ll Need
A personal and growing relationship with Jesus Christ
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
A strong work ethic, a collaborative spirit, and a heart for middle school students
Effective communication and classroom management skills
Teaching certificate and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
Alignment with RLCA’s mission and core values
Preferred Qualifications
Teaching experience in middle school ELA or a related subject
Familiarity with Christian or faith-based education
Confidence in leading a classroom with both academic and spiritual guidance
