Real Life Christian Academy (RLCA) is a Christ-centered learning community committed to academic excellence and spiritual growth. We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated 1st Grade Teacher to join our team for the 2025–2026 school year.
Position Summary The 1st Grade Teacher is responsible for creating a nurturing, Christ-centered classroom where students are encouraged to grow academically, spiritually, and socially. This teacher will deliver engaging, age-appropriate instruction while modeling Christian values and fostering a love of learning.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with RLCA curriculum standards.
Create a safe, structured, and joyful classroom environment rooted in Biblical principles.
Differentiate instruction to meet the varying needs of young learners.
Foster strong relationships with students and families through clear communication and support.
Collaborate with fellow staff members to promote a positive, team-oriented culture.
Integrate faith into daily instruction, modeling Christ-like behavior and attitudes.
Participate in professional development, staff meetings, and school events.
Qualifications
A committed follower of Jesus Christ with a mature and growing faith.
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university (required).
Valid teaching certificate (preferred).
CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
Passion for teaching and nurturing young children.
Strong classroom management and communication skills.
Willingness to embrace and promote the mission and core values of RLCA.
