Debate and Mock Trial Summer Camp Teacher
Job Level : Entry Level (less than 2 years) Season : Summer seasonal position (2-6 weeks) Rate : $20/hr - $25/hr We are seeking enthusiastic, motivated and talented individuals to work as a Lead Instructor in our Model UN, Mock Trial, YoungInvestors, Counselor in Training, and Debate week long summer camps. PAID training and curriculum provided. Spend the summer with our amazing students having fun. Work with students ages 8-14. Responsibilities
Lead and instruct students in debate, mock trial, model UN and related activities. Prepare lesson plans, manage classroom and support student learning. Teach at multiple sites within a 40 minute drive (one site per week). Provide feedback, coaching, and assessment to students. Collaborate with other instructors and camp staff. Qualifications
At least 21 years of age. Current teaching certification or experience competing in college level mock trial, Model UN, or debate preferred. Comfortable working with a group of 20 students independently. Experience coaching middle or high school academic teams highly preferred. Government, history, debate, ELA, and social studies teachers strongly encouraged to apply. Available to teach multiple weeks throughout the summer. Benefits
