Position Memory Care Support Partner – Part Time

Location Highland Heights, Ohio

Starting Wage $19–$21 per hour

Shift Schedule Friday / Saturday, 7 a.m. – 3 p.m.

Responsibilities

Advocate of Empathy: Be responsible for understanding the importance of empathy and creating human connection with residents during their most vulnerable moments.

Patient Observer: Discover residents’ interests, abilities, and what makes each resident who they are; collaborate to create appropriate engagement plans and implement strategies with patience to ensure success.

Master of the Mise en Scène: Set the stage for a successful day by preparing dining rooms, libraries, and resident rooms for routines.

Life Partner: Partner with residents to achieve all facets of daily life from the moment they wake to the moment they go to sleep.

Document resident care and changes in condition accurately.

Assist with orientation of team members assigned to memory care neighborhoods.

Qualifications

Minimum 18 years of age.

High school diploma or equivalent.

Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English with residents.

Positive and energetic attitude; love for residents.

Computer skills for printing documents and entering resident information.

Physical capability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop all day.

Ability to lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds frequently.

Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, walking, and help after a fall.

Criminal background clearance.
