Overview The Team Member position is classified as variable hour, part‑time fixed, part‑time regular or full‑time hourly. Primary responsibilities include ensuring guests receive exceptional service while scheduled in the Box Office, Concession Stand, or as an Usher. Team Members represent Regal consistently with our mission statement and policies.
Core Responsibilities
Regular and consistent attendance
Handling emergency situations when called upon
Perform general cleaning duties
Comply with the company dress code
Essential Duties by Role Box Office
Operate the POS system and manage cash drawer, credit cards, travelers’ checks, gift cards, and redeemed discount tickets, passes, and coupons.
Upsell/suggest Premium Viewing Experience (3D, RPX, IMAX).
Promote the Regal Crown Club program.
Sell tickets in compliance with the MPAA rating system and company policy.
Respond to phone calls and guest inquiries in accordance with our guest‑service philosophy.
Concession
Operate the POS system and maintain accuracy of cash drawer and payment methods, including inventory of concession stock.
Promote the Regal Crown Club program.
Operate, prepare, and clean all concession equipment.
Upsell/suggest products.
Comply with all local, state, and federal food‑safety laws.
Adhere to all federal and state laws regarding breaks and meal periods.
Maintain required alcohol certification and training where applicable.
When working with alcohol, ensure legal age and compliance with state/local laws.
Complete training materials covering sexual harassment and discrimination.
Usher
Tear tickets, collect and deposit stubs, and direct patrons to their auditoriums.
Inspect backpacks and packages when applicable.
Manage crowd control and assist guests in finding seats.
Enforce the MPAA rating system.
Conduct in‑theatre inspections to monitor picture/sound quality and security.
Report problems or discrepancies to management immediately.
Assist with in‑auditorium concession auxiliary sales as directed.
Clean auditoriums and maintain restrooms, lobby, hallways, and other areas outside the auditorium.
Monitor the cleanliness and operation of theatre vending equipment.
Assist with all opening and closing duties as assigned.
Pay $17.00/hr

Education / Experience Completion of the cast certification program as a cast member and as a box office cashier or progress toward completion is required.
Language Ability Good public speaking, effective listening, and clear, direct communication.
Math Ability Accurate and speedy calculations, with the ability to identify and correct errors.
Reasoning Ability Identify problems, gather relevant data, evaluate alternatives, and reach evidence‑based conclusions; perform actions beyond what is called for; work under pressure.
