Location US: WI: Milwaukee at our Froedtert Hospital facility.
Status On-site, FTE: 1.0, Standard Hours: 40.0, Shift: Shift 2 (Monday–Friday 1:00 pm–9:30 pm with rotating weekends and holidays)
Job Summary Responsible for performing functions in the Linen Department which includes counting returned linens, restocking, loading, pack preparation, and deliveries according to approved procedures. Pulling full linen carts throughout hospital weighing upwards of 200‑300lbs. Other duties as assigned.
Experience Warehouse or Laborer Experience Preferred.
Education High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
Training One to two months on‑the‑job training to become proficient is provided.
Special Skills Works well in a team environment. Meets expectations of hospital needs in an active work environment. Ability to adapt to changing daily needs based on hospital needs. Knowledge of Linen Department techniques and computer functions preferred. Ability to follow instructions in the use of: Computer, handheld palms, and heat transfer machine.
