LINEN ASST, FH - LINEN SERVICES
Location:
US:WI:MILWAUKEE at our FROEDTERT HOSPITAL facility.
Job Type:
Full-time , FTE 1.0, Shift 1, Standard Hours 40.00, Shift Details: M-F 5:00am to 1:30pm with rotating weekends and holidays.
Job Summary Responsible for performing functions in the Linen Department which includes counting returned linens, restocking, loading, pack preparation, and deliveries according to approved procedures. Pulling full linen carts weighing upwards of 200-300 pounds throughout hospital. Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Experience:
Warehouse or laborer experience preferred.
High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
Training: One to two months on-the-job training to become proficient is provided.
Special Skills: Works well in a team environment, meets expectations of hospital needs in an active work environment, ability to adapt to changing daily needs based on hospital needs, knowledge of Linen Department techniques and computer functions preferred, ability to follow instructions in the use of computer, handheld palms, and heat transfer machine.
