Position Description
Ryder is immediately hiring a Permanent Full-Time Sanitation Associate for its Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin location.
Pay: Hourly $16.00 per hour with a $0.75 increase after 6 months of employment.
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 6:00 am – 2:30 pm.
Job Type: Full‑time.

Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
At least one year of warehouse experience preferred
Possible equipment certification required by location
Ability to recognize and read location, date and product codes
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to build and maintain professional relationships at all levels
Independence and teamwork skills
Self‑driven and adaptable in a fast‑paced environment
Capability to manage multiple assignments, set priorities, and adapt to changing conditions
Detail oriented with excellent follow‑up practices
Important Note Some positions require additional screening that may include employment and education verification, motor vehicle records checks, a road test, and/or customer specific background or badging requirements.
Responsibilities
Clean restrooms, break room, locker room, and office areas per sanitation schedule.
Clean exterior areas of the building, including windows, walkways, and empty trash containers per sanitation schedule.
Sweep and scrub warehouse floors and office areas per sanitation schedule.
Wipe down racks, guard rails, and walls in the warehouse and office areas per sanitation schedule.
Perform additional duties as assigned, with overtime as needed.
Maintain a safe, clean, and tour‑ready facility.
Assist Maintenance Technicians with light maintenance activities such as painting.
