Shawnee Animal Clinic
Shawnee Animal Clinic is a growing, family‑oriented practice with eight veterinarians and over sixty support staff across our hospital, grooming facility, and boarding and training facilities. We seek self‑starters who are willing to learn, can multi‑task in a fast‑paced veterinary hospital, and are comfortable with various medical outcomes.
Job Description Maintain the visual appeal of the hospital reception area, greet and welcome clients and patients, answer questions, triage client concerns, answer calls and direct to the appropriate party for resolution, schedule appointments to maximize efficiency and daily flow, check in and check out clients, and process payments. Receptionists provide compassionate, discreet support during times of need and must be comfortable with unpleasant odors, noises, animal waste, bites, scratches, and possibly contagious diseases.
Qualifications
Minimum of 1 year veterinary reception experience preferred.
Compassionate, calm, team player, multi‑tasker, and strong communicator.
Highly organized with computer skills.
Self‑starter who seeks to advance knowledge and skillset.
Compensation & Benefits
Pay range: $13/hr.
