Delivery Helper

primarily involves loading, locating job sites, backing, preparing, and restoring the job site, preparing the truck for the following day, and maintaining the truck and equipment.

Duties & Responsibilities
Compliance with company, state, and federal guidelines, particularly OSHA and DOT, for the safety of all personnel
Perform pre‑trip inspections of equipment, paperwork, and loaded product to ensure accuracy of order
Safely unload product and deliver to assigned area as directed by the customer
Secure mud, equipment, metal, and pallet on truck
Navigates routes to the job site
Basic Qualifications
Ability to read, write and communicate information accurately
Stamina to lift at least 75 lbs to carry materials, such as drywall and joint compound

Physical Requirements
Must be able to remain standing 90% of the time
Constantly move from unloading materials from commercial motor vehicles onto the job site
Constantly position self to unload and load materials from flatbed or boom
Frequently move materials weighing up to 100 lbs while unloading and loading flatbed
Must be able to communicate with management and coworkers and exchange accurate information in these situations
Constantly work in an outside environment while making deliveries
Required Cognitive Skills
Prioritize job sites and deadlines
Manage stress depending on customer’s deadline
Multitask
Receive information and directions
Quickly communicate solutions if problems occur
Demonstrate a high degree of sound judgement
