Custodian Part Time
Location: CCGA – Main Campus (Brunswick)

Job Summary This part‑time position is responsible for custodial maintenance of campus buildings and facilities. The schedule is flexible based on employee availability, with options for day, evening, or weekend hours.
Responsibilities
Cleans buildings, classrooms, restrooms, and drinking fountains.
Dusts and cleans boards, offices, and flat surfaces; washes windows, walls, glass doors, and classroom equipment; may work from a ladder; polishes brass.
Collects and empties trash.
Sweeps, mops, buffs, strips, and waxes floors; vacuums and shampoos carpets.
Reports damaged structures and equipment; maintains building entranceways.
Moves office furniture and equipment; assists in setting up facilities for special events.
Performs related work as required.
Required Qualifications
Must be able to report to work on time and maintain dependable attendance.
Must possess a current valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record and pass a yearly motor vehicle report review.
Must successfully pass a pre‑employment drug test and will be subject to random drug testing.
Preferred Qualifications
Some custodial experience is preferred; experience with commercial floor care equipment is desirable.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Knowledge of cleaning methods, materials, and tools used in custodial services; knowledge of equipment such as rotary buffers and carpet extracting machines; knowledge of safe work practices.
Abilities: exercise care regarding chemical, mechanical, or electrical hazards; follow routine oral and written instructions; work extended periods at manual tasks and lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs; stand, stoop, walk, bend, or crouch for long periods; lift light and occasionally heavy objects; use tools or equipment requiring dexterity; work outdoors in inclement weather; operate a golf cart or company vehicle.
