Job Description
Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals, accommodations, and instructional timelines.
Deliver engaging, standards‑aligned instruction adapted for student needs and learning styles.
Provide instructional support in co‑taught, resource, push‑in, or self‑contained environments.
Assess student learning and modify instruction based on data and observations.
Collaborate with general education teachers and related service providers on best practices.
Maintain consistent communication with parents, staff, and administrators regarding progress.
Utilize Google Classroom and other digital platforms to support instruction.
Assist in facilitating IEP meetings in collaboration with the Special Education Coordinator.
Qualifications
Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with LBS I endorsement.
Knowledge of Google Classroom and digital instructional tools.
Strong understanding of Common Core standards and research‑based instructional practices.
Ability to analyze student data and adjust instruction accordingly.
Demonstrated flexibility, creativity, and child‑centered instructional decision‑making.
Skill in differentiating instruction for diverse learners and learning styles.
Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.
