is seeking an innovative educator to lead our K–5 STEM program. The role is full‑time, Monday‑Friday 7:30 am‑4:15 pm, with a salary range of $60,500 – $90,000.

What will you be doing?
Design and deliver integrated, standards‑aligned STEM lessons that cultivate curiosity, critical thinking, and problem‑solving in young learners
Facilitate hands‑on, inquiry‑based exploration that blends science, technology, engineering, and math with literacy and communication skills
Create a structured, inclusive, and warm classroom environment that promotes belonging, collaboration, and academic engagement
Model strong emotional intelligence, communication, and interpersonal skills to support early social development and community building
Manage instructional materials, manipulatives, and technology tools to ensure students have access to high‑quality, developmentally appropriate STEM resources
Assess learning progress through formative and summative measures and provide timely, actionable feedback that supports student growth
Engage in ongoing professional learning to refine inquiry‑based instructional practices and integrate emerging STEM approaches
Design lessons and select materials that reflect cultural diversity and affirm the identities and experiences of all scholars
Collaborate with special education, staff, and instructional leaders to provide accommodations and maintain inclusive access to STEM learning
Participate in family engagement initiatives and schoolwide events that strengthen communication between home and school and support scholar achievement
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
NJ Elementary K–6 certification or eligibility, with interest or specialization in science or technology
At least 9 college credits in core sciences
Demonstrated success fostering student engagement and growth through inquiry‑based, hands‑on STEM instruction
2+ years experience in an urban school setting preferred
Proven ability to support diverse learners through inclusive, differentiated practices
