Schedule
Full Time: 8:30 am- 5:00 pm, Monday – Friday with overtime as required Position Summary
This position will be responsible for packing domestic and international orders or accessory packs, kits, and component packs. Position Responsibilities
Pack and route all domestic & international orders for all LECO departments. Use knowledge of shipping procedures and rates to ship orders efficiently to customer. Compare quantities and identification numbers of parts against customer orders for accuracy. Assemble wooden and cardboard containers and skids for orders. Insert parts and equipment into containers in a manner that ensures safe shipment to customer. Pack and label hazardous materials in proper Department of Transportation containers. Verify the issue of parts and equipment against orders. Store and assist in maintaining packing supplies. Convert English weights and measures to metric whenever needed on international shipments. Provide packing supplies and expertise to all LECO departments and subsidiaries. Has authority to determine best shipping method for an order when not specified. Has authority to question the visual quality of items being packed for shipment. Pack accessory packs, kits, and component packs. Other duties assigned by the Shipping Supervisor or Group leader. Must be quality-oriented. Neatness and orderliness and good with numbers. Lift truck license. Education/Certifications
