Primary Purpose The Receptionist is a non‑instructional team member on campus, helping to drive our world‑class support mission by monitoring the front desk, providing excellent customer service, and performing various clerical tasks.

Duties/Responsibilities

Drive customer satisfaction for parents, teachers, and academic leaders in line with our world‑class support mission.

Keep families and staff informed of all campus‑based activities.

Ensure knowledge of scholar enrollment requirements and deadlines.

Maintain and monitor safety practices.

Accurately record scholar check‑in and check‑out.

Protect confidentiality of all information.

Actively monitor the front desk, answer all incoming phone calls, and provide accurate information.

Route incoming calls and messages to the appropriate staff member.

Answer questions from families, staff, and scholars.

Ensure all guests sign in, are verified, and receive a visitor pass.

Sort and disperse mail.

Represent the campus as a friendly and professional “face” to families and communities.

Maintain a positive campus image through interactions with families, staff, scholars, and the community.

Assist the Operations Director in establishing a positive, support‑focused culture on campus.

Qualifications Education Requirements

High School Diploma or GED; Associate's Degree preferred.

Experience Requirements

Minimum two (2) years of experience as an Administrative Assistant or Customer Service Representative.

Special Skills/Certifications

Required Skills/Abilities

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Bilingual in Spanish (required).

Strong computer skills; familiarity with Microsoft Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams) and ability to quickly learn new applications.

Physical Demands/Environmental Factors While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. The employee frequently must feel, touch, and reach with hands and arms, stand, walk, and use stairs. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

The environment requires close proximity to other employees, frequent interruptions, extended periods of time viewing a computer screen, and noise levels from moderate to high. The employee may need to work outside in varied weather conditions for arrival and dismissal support at car line.
