Position Description The School of Health Professions is seeking a graduate student enrolled in an institution of the Texas Tech University System to work 20 hours per week in support of the teaching mission of the unit. The assistant will be responsible for quizzes, drills, or laboratory sections.
Major/Essential Functions
Assist faculty in the teaching of one or more courses.
Perform teaching-related duties such as lecturing, leading discussions, performing lab activities, grading, proctoring, assisting individual study students, developing course materials, tutoring, holding office hours, etc.
Complete and submit weekly work activity reports to the supervisor.
Required Qualifications Enrolled in the graduate program of an institution within the Texas Tech University System.
Preferred Qualifications
Enrolled in the School of Health Professions Ph.D. Rehabilitation Science program.
Bachelor's degree or higher in Rehabilitation Science or a related area.

Pay Statement: Compensation is commensurate upon the qualifications of the individual selected and budgetary guidelines of the hiring department, as well as the institutional pay plan.
