Location: Coconut Creek, FL (US-FL-Coconut Creek)
We are looking for a dedicated and alert Security Officer to join our team.
The role is a full‑time position focused on ensuring the safety of guests, employees, and casino assets.

Your role will reinforce this commitment by maintaining a safe environment and offering courteous assistance.
Responsibilities
Maintain observation posts throughout the property.
Maintain various logs required for information purposes.
Secure entry and exit to the casino.
Roam the property, staying alert to potential issues that may result in injury, damage, or theft.
Responsible for the safety and security of intensive cash operations.
Promote an outgoing, friendly, customer‑oriented personality at all times.
Provide basic security coverage ensuring adequate protection for patrons, employees, and company assets.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED preferred, or equivalent combination of education and/or work experience.
Basic telephone and two‑way radio skills, with clear written communication.
Detail‑oriented with strong customer‑service skills suitable for a high‑intensity atmosphere.
Extensive standing and walking with minimal sitting, able to lift 40 pounds and push 100 pounds.
Valid Motor Vehicle License with a good driving record.
Ability to wear a radio earphone without medical limitations.
Ready to stand, walk, climb steps, respond to emergencies, and perform basic duties for extended periods.
For bicycle officers: successful completion of initial bike training/certification program and ability to perform all physical requirements and control a 10‑speed bicycle under job conditions.
Work Environment
May be exposed to second‑hand smoke and high noise levels.
Job requires frequent standing, walking, hand use, reaching, speaking, and hearing.
Casino environment is hectic, fast‑paced, crowded, and noisy.
Closing The Tribal Council gives preference in all employment practices to Native Americans.
First preference is given to members of the Seminole Tribe who meet job requirements; second preference to members of other federally recognized tribes.
