This is a casual/on-call part-time truck driving job that is perfect for licensed CDL Class A drivers seeking supplemental income and looking to work anywhere from 0 to 25 hours a week based on business needs.
Job Responsibilities:
Inspect vehicles before transportation. Document and notify manager of any issues or obstacles.
Manage all documentation upon delivery and drop off the vehicle.
Receive and/or collect any payment of services at the time of delivery if necessary.
Adhere to safety procedures and precautions while driving trucks to and from destinations and locations.
Immediately report and document any traffic incidents or accidents that may occur during the transportation of the vehicle along with any damage to the vehicle.
Additional tasks may be required by the supervisor or manager
Job Qualifications:
CDL Class A license required
Clean driving record for the past 2 years
Ability to read and follow written instructions
Ability to work independently, customer service skills, organizational skills, and a positive attitude are required
Reliable attendance
Willingness to travel
Lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis
