Raw Processor Batching Operator I – 3rd Shift
Position: Batching Operator I – 3rd Shift
Type: Onsite

Oberto Snacks, Inc. invites you to join a dynamic and innovative team focused on delivering high-quality protein snacks. The Batching Operator I will operate a variety of processing lines, ensure product quality, and support continuous improvement.
Schedule
3rd Shift – 8 hours per day with possible daily overtime and peak summer/fall production.
Training: 6–9 months on 2nd shift then transition to 3rd shift.
Wage Hourly range: $23.00 – $25.00 per hour DOE, including $1.00 per hour shift differential.
Primary Responsibilities
Operate machines to meet quality standards, line schedule attainment, and line efficiency.
Load, thread film, and perform packaging operations.
Conduct product quality and QA checks, including hourly weight, count checks, oxygen level tests, metal detection, and blade inspection.
Adjust machines registration, sealing temperature, speed, gas levels, and slicing width to maximize quality and efficiency.
Maintain machine and equipment cleanliness; perform basic maintenance as directed.
Record accurate weights, batch numbers, and ingredient ticket data.
Cooperate with team members to ensure timely start, correct spices, and proper product handling.
Follow safety and sanitation procedures, reporting any issues to lead or supervisor.
Assist in machine changeovers, including sanitizing for species or allergen changes.
Support the development and maintenance of SQF 2000 systems and food safety plans.
Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent.
Minimum 6 months manufacturing experience preferred.
Experience with pallet jack preferred.
Lock‑Out Tag‑Out certification (OJT). HACCP familiarity (OJT); SQF preferred.
Understanding of GMPs and personal safety rules (OJT).
Ability to read specifications and BOMs; basic math skills.
Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability.
Strong communication skills in English.
Team player with good judgment and ability to meet deadlines.
Physical Requirements
Frequent standing, walking, kneeling, crouching, and crawling.
Lift and move objects up to 50 lbs regularly.
Work in high‑temperature, wet, and hazardous environments.
Good vision and hearing; ability to adjust focus.
