Starting Pay $16.88
Ability to read, understand and follow oral and/or written policies, procedures and instructions.
Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as floor buffer/sweeper, etc.
One (1) year or more of paid custodial experience.
Possession of a valid driver's license and the ability to obtain/maintain a City of Hoover Driver's Permit.
Responsibilities include:
Washes floors, furnishings, equipment, windows, doors and walls with cleaning solutions and disinfectants.
Prepares cleaning solutions and disinfectants.
Cleans and scrubs basins, sinks, lavatories and toilets.
Replenishes soap, tissue, towels and similar supplies.
Dusts, wipes and cleans cabinets, closets, shelves, vents, showers, pictures and desks.
Collects trash and empties garbage; picks up trash from outside of buildings.
Sweeps, mops and dusts floors and strips floor of old wax; applies new wax and buffs.
Performs related duties as required.
