Location: Aug Prep North Campus
Schedule: Full-time during 10-month school year
Reports To: K-8 Principal
Desired Start Date: July 2026

In This Role You will empower students to discover their potential and pursue excellence—academically, personally, and spiritually—through high‑quality teaching and authentic care. The ideal candidate is an exceptional collaborator with deep understanding of content, ability to connect, inspire, and promote metacognitive engagement.
Responsibilities Academics
Plan, prepare, and deliver instruction in Math, Science, and other subjects as assigned.
Differentiate instruction to meet diverse student needs, including small‑group and individual support.
Monitor student learning and document progress, share observations with the lead teacher.
Use grade‑level academic standards and data to support instructional practices and outcomes.
Classroom Environment and Student Relationships
Integrate Biblical truth and character education into lessons.
Maintain a safe, organized, and nurturing classroom.
Manage behavior consistently, promote respect and integrity, build positive relationships.
Serve as a cultural and spiritual model, demonstrate God’s love to students and families.
Communicate regularly with parents about progress, behavior, and needs.
Maintain ethical behavior and confidentiality.
Professionalism
Be open to coaching and feedback, continuously improve teaching practices.
Participate in professional development to implement instruction.
Collaborate proactively with colleagues, aides, and support staff.
Build positive, solution‑oriented relationships with students, parents, and community.
Seek growth through meetings, coursework, workshops, seminars.
Model professionalism, integrity, and positive behavior.
Engage in school community widely.
Schoolwide Support and Supervision
Monitor and support students during morning arrival, lunch, recess, dismissal.
Service to teachers and students in specials: PE, Art, Drama, Spanish, Bible, Music, Library.
What We’re Looking For
Belief in every child’s ability and commitment to excellence.
Bachelor’s Degree (Master’s a plus); State teaching license preferred but not required.
Active participation in a Christian church.
Effective oral and written communication skills.
Strong multitasking, empathy, flexibility with schedule changes.
Team player committed to St. Augustine Prep mission.
