Plan, prepare, and deliver high‑quality instruction in reading, writing, math, science, social studies, and other subjects as assigned. Differentiate instruction to meet diverse needs, including small‑group and individual support. Monitor, assess, and document student progress; use assessment data to inform instruction. Possess a general understanding of academic standards and utilize student assessment data to inform instruction and support improved learning outcomes. Classroom Environment and Student Relationships

Seek opportunities to integrate Biblical truth with lessons. Integrate character education and/or faith‑based values into daily lessons. Maintain a safe, organized, and nurturing classroom environment. Manage classroom behavior consistently, promoting courage, respect, integrity, perseverance, and positive relationships. Serve as cultural and spiritual model; demonstrate God’s love to students and families. Effectively communicate regularly with parents and guardians about student progress, behavior, and needs. Maintain high ethical behavior and confidentiality of student information. Professionalism

Open to coaching and feedback; continuously improve teaching practices. Participate in ongoing professional development; implement instruction with fidelity. Collaborate as a team player; proactively offer solutions throughout the school year. Collaborate with colleagues, instructional aides, and support staff to enhance student learning. Work collaboratively and supportively with colleagues, supervisors, students, parents/guardians, and community members, maintaining positive, solution‑oriented relationships. Continuously seek professional growth through meetings, coursework, workshops, seminars, and in‑services. Serve as role model for students by demonstrating professionalism, integrity, and positive behavior. Remain open‑minded to professional growth and actively engage in the school community as we grow and evolve. Schoolwide Support and Supervision

Monitor and support students during morning arrival, lunch, recess, and dismissal. Serve with a flexible, open heart that recognizes no duty is outside the scope of your role; we are a team that is stronger together in service of our students. What We’re Looking For

A belief in the ability of every child and a commitment to ensure excellence for each student. Bachelor’s Degree (Master’s degree a plus). State teaching license preferred but not required. Active participation in a Christian church. Effective oral and written communication skills. Strong multitasking skills; support students’ emotional needs with empathy; flexible during schedule changes. Team player committed to the St. Augustine Preparatory mission and model.
