Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail‑oriented Bar Back to join our dynamic Concessions team. The ideal candidate will receive all liquor, beer, and wine from the storeroom daily and replenish them as needed throughout the bar shift.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Retrieve all needed food items from the kitchen and deliver to the bar area.
Retrieve all needed beverage items and garnishes from the storerooms and deliver to the bar area.
Set up bottles on the bar with ’top shelf’ liquor on the back shelf.
Ensure beer taps are working properly.
Place appropriate bar snacks on the counter and keep snacks and napkins stocked throughout the shift.
Assist in opening and closing side work as assigned.
Buss tables in the bar area.
Help ensure the cleanliness and tidiness of the bar or lounge areas; wash work tables, walls, refrigerators, and floors under equipment; sweep and mop service areas, including floor mats.
Ensure rubbish is removed from all receptacles.
Prepare and serve beverages as needed to assist the bartender.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED.
Minimum one year of Food and Beverage, Hotel/Hospitality, Club, or Full‑Service Restaurant experience.
Valid TABC or state‑approved Alcohol/Liquor certification.
Valid ServSafe or state‑approved Food Handler's certification.
Excellent customer service, organization, and time management skills.
Ability to speak, read, and write in English.
Ability to stand for long periods with minimal supervision.
Ability to lift 50 lbs or more.
