We are currently seeking a

Driver

at our

Dallas - Prestonwood

community. In this role, you will be responsible for carrying out transportation programs according to the recreation calendar and the directions of the Transportation Director. These responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Responsibilities

Ensure transportation occurs timely and as scheduled per the calendar and appointments directed by the Transportation Director.

Utilize an energetic approach when communicating with residents.

Ensure resident transportation schedule is carried out routine and effectively.

Get acquainted with every resident and complete resident interest survey to better plan programs.

Provide concierge services as part of transportation and social events.

Required Qualifications

At least one year of event planning, hospitality or senior living experience or equivalent experience and education.

Knowledge of local community resources, vendors, and potential coverage for specific areas of cultural guild.

Exhibits an energetic demeanor with a caring, compassionate attitude.

Ability to direct, supervise and coordinate the work of others and motivate for positive performance.

Possesses sound organizational and time management skills.

Possesses good judgment, problem solving and decision‑making skills.

Ability to utilize the computer and related software programs.

Ability to work schedules as warranted by activities, events, and transportation needs.

Possesses a valid Commercial Driver’s License with a passenger “P” endorsement.

Professional appearance and attitude.

General staffing requirements: free of communicable disease, able to physically/mentally perform tasks, criminal record clearance, ability to read, write, speak, and understand English, general understanding of the needs of seniors, willingness to learn.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: must be able to sit for long periods of time and lift packages up to 30 pounds.
