– Applebee's Neighborhood Grill & Bar, New Castle, PA. Position: entry‑level, full‑time.
Job Description As an Applebee's Server, you will be our guests' first and last impression. You must be friendly, make recommendations, and anticipate the needs of the guest. You will work hard but have a great time doing it!
Responsibilities
Provide excellent guest service and create a welcoming atmosphere.
Take and deliver orders accurately and efficiently.
Recommend menu items and promote specials.
Maintain cleanliness and uphold food safety standards.
Assist in opening and closing procedures as needed.
Qualifications
At least 18 years old.
Effective communication skills.
Commitment to making a positive impact on guests.
Ability to stand for up to 4 hours, reach, bend, stoop and lift up to 25 pounds.
Physical Standards
Exert well‑paced mobility for long periods up to four (4) hours.
Safely reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 25 pounds.
Transport plates, glasses, and baskets to and from dining room, service bar, and kitchen approximately 30 times per shift.
Speak clearly and listen attentively to staff and guests.
Wear protective hand coverings, face coverings, masks during shift.
Use disinfectant cleaning supplies and wash hands with disinfecting soap regularly.
