As an Applebee's Cook, you will prepare menu items that keep customers coming back. You must be a great communicator, work well as part of a fast‑paced team, and enjoy working hard while having fun.
Responsibilities
Prepare ingredients and dishes according to company standards.
Maintain cleanliness and safety in a hot, damp kitchen environment.
Communicate effectively with team members and dining‑room staff.
Follow portioning and presentation guidelines.
Qualifications
At least 18 years old.
Strong communication skills.
Commitment to teamwork and delivering excellent service.
Physical Standards
Ability to remain stationary and move slowly for up to four (4) hours.
Ability to safely reach, bend, stoop and lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to work in a hot and damp environment.
Strong finger and hand dexterity for using small tools.
Ability to wear protective hand coverings during entire shift.
Ability to work with disinfectant cleaning supplies during entire shift.
Ability to wear protective face coverings and/or masks during entire shift.
Ability to frequently wash hands with disinfecting soap during shift.
