Therapy Aide Per Diem (As Needed)
Day Neuro Facility Shift Hours: 8:00am - 4:30pm
Pay rate: $22/hr
Baylor Rehabilitation is seeking a Therapy Technician to fill our PRN opening at our Inpatient facility in Fort Worth!
Responsibilities Seeking a rehab therapy aide to join a multi-disciplinary team of PTs, OTs, and SLPs providing care to a wide variety of patients. The successful candidate will participate in clinical care under the direction of licensed therapists in a fast moving rehab hospital setting. The successful candidate will demonstrate flexibility and eagerness to serve patients as an integral member of the therapy team. This is a great opportunity for anyone looking to gain experience for application to professional degree programs.
Duties will include providing physical assistance with therapy interventions, maintaining equipment within the department, and completing other administrative tasks. The rehab therapy aide may also provide transportation for patients in the company van. No CDL required. Opportunities to work in our Outpatient Day Neuro department as well as assist with scheduling are also available. A driving record check will be performed. Related experience is preferred, though training will be provided to enthusiastic applicants seeking an opportunity in the rehab setting.
Qualifications
One or more years of hospital experience as therapy aide preferred.
BLS Certification or completion within 90 days of hire
