Education & Qualifications
You bring patience, positivity, and a genuine love for working with young children.
Must be at least 18 years old
High School Diploma or GED required
Experience
Your hands-on experience with young children will help you shine in this role.
At least 2 years of experience supervising children under age 5
Experience must be in a professional child-care setting such as a church nursery, YMCA nursery, early childhood program, summer camp, or paid nanny position
What You’ll Do (And Love!)
As a Preschool Afternoon Care Staff person, you’ll help create a safe, engaging end-of-day experience for our youngest learners.
Assist teachers in providing high-quality care and supervision for children ages 0–5
Support children with a wide range of learning, emotional, social, and physical needs
Help maintain a fun, nurturing, and safe environment in classrooms and play areas
Provide supplemental support wherever needed to ensure smooth daily transitions.
Engage children in play, learning, and meaningful interaction as they wind down their day
