Transporter 1
Highland Hospital (Rochester, NY) is hiring a part‑time Patient Transporter. The position is scheduled for Friday–Monday and every other weekend, 12:00 pm to 10:30 pm, 16 hours per week.
Compensation Base pay: $17.70 /hr–$22.92 /hr.
Responsibilities
Transport patients via wheelchair, stretcher, or as an escort for ambulatory patients to and from clinical, ancillary, and support department areas as directed by the Patient Transporter (PTR), appropriately closing tasks and observing all safety regulations.
Assist clinical personnel in transferring patients to and/or from beds or chairs to and/or from wheelchair or stretcher.
Pick up specimens, cultures, orders, and requisitions and deliver items to the appropriate destination.
Maintain accurate log of all transports.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED preferred.
Employment Details Employment status: Part‑time.
Hours/Week: 16.
Work shift: Days/Evenings.
Location: Rochester.
