Aim of the role To be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of 11 Cadogan Gardens, The Chelsea Townhouse & The Apartments during night hours, while delivering exceptional guest service in line with company standards.
Responsibilities
Assist the Night Manager and all departments when necessary, showing teamwork and flexibility.
Have intimate knowledge of both the bedrooms and geography of the hotel including all fuse boxes.
Be confident with fire training and fire drill practices.
Provide 24-hour service to guests, assisting with queries and completing both check‑ins and check‑outs.
Assist early morning staff (bakers, cleaners, restaurant, kitchen, porters) by issuing keys, stores, sorting equipment problems and providing assistance where necessary.
Communicate with the early Duty Manager through the Duty Manager Book or verbally on any ongoing problems encountered during the night.
Support and take ownership of concierge-related requests through out the night, ensuring they are completed within company standard.
Take ownership to keep the stillroom tidy and ready for early breakfast.
Order newspapers per the list; check forward planner for any other added papers required for conferences.
Ensure lounges, terraces and public areas are tidy and free of restaurant and bar items, ready for final cleaning by Housekeeping.
Use EPOS system to enter breakfast orders and any other room or bar service into the system.
Handle intoxicated late‑night revelers diplomatically, ensuring they do not disturb other guests or damage hotel property.
About the Hotel The Chelsea Townhouse, launching in late summer 2023, will be a timeless classic hotel in the heart of vibrant Chelsea and is ideally located to explore the best of London. The property is currently undergoing a sensitive restoration that will bring back to life the hotel’s long and eclectic heritage and will significantly improve guest experience and comfort.
