Gufo (Owl in Italian), the Coda Group’s newest restaurant in East Cambridge, is hiring for
Line Cooks & Pizza Cooks . The restaurant offers handmade pasta, pizza, antipasti, café counter service, brunch on weekends, and a beverage program featuring craft cocktails, local beer, and wine from Italian grape varietals. Kitchen staff work in a scratch kitchen focusing on local, seasonal ingredients.
Responsibilities Kitchen staff will report directly to the Sous Chef(s) / Executive Chef and will assist in preparing, cooking, and plating dishes with high standards, maintaining a clean and organized work area, and working efficiently under pressure.
Requirements
A heightened sense of urgency, organization, and resilience under pressure.
An ability to work with others, communicate, follow instructions, and read recipes.
Understanding of proper and safe food handling; Servsafe Food Handler Certification highly recommended.
