Requires technical knowledge in the field acquired through an apprenticeship, a 2-year degree, or professional certificate. Position Summary

This technician is responsible for planning, coordinating and executing the performance of all Molecular Diagnostic test procedures for the diagnosis and treatment of bacterial, viral and fungal diseases of animals. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies

Experience in a microbiology, medical technology, veterinary diagnostic, commercial or public health laboratory. Physical Demands

Lift 40 pounds unassisted. Stand, walk or sit for long periods of time. Driving and Trust

Perform Molecular Diagnostic test procedures for the diagnosis of animal and human diseases under BSL2, enhanced BSL2 and BSL3 conditions. General lab maintenance. Maintain a clean organized environment with adequate inventory at all times. Contact Information
