KidsLife Naples is seeking a passionate, nurturing, and energetic Preschool Teaching Assistant to join our team of educators dedicated to creating a safe, engaging, and developmentally rich environment for young children. Responsibilities:
Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with Florida Early Learning Standards
Foster a warm, inclusive classroom environment that supports emotional, social, and cognitive growth
Maintain daily routines including circle time, learning centers, outdoor play, and transitions
Ensure safety and cleanliness in accordance with state licensing and KidsLife protocols
Observe and document children’s progress; communicate effectively with families
Collaborate with fellow staff on curriculum planning, events, and professional development
Uphold all health, safety, and emergency preparedness proceduresHelp with other tasks to support Preschool Operations
Qualifications/Requirements:
18 years of age minimum, High School Diploma
Interest in obtaining Teacher's Credentials
Willing to learn and follow directions of superior staff teachers.
Willing to work with 1-2 year old children.
Prefer 1 year experience in a licensed preschool or childcare setting.
Strong understanding of child development and positive guidance techniques
CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
Level II background screening clearance required
