Baton Rouge Ochsner Discovery Health Sciences Academy (BROD) is a newly authorized Type 2 Charter that is part of the Discovery Schools Charter Management Organization. The school opened for the 2023‑24 school year, starting with grades PreK4‑4th and will eventually educate students in grades PreK‑8th at full capacity. The Academy seeks a Co‑Teacher to work in partnership with a certified lead classroom teacher in Pre‑Kindergarten.
Qualifications
Associate Degree or Bachelor’s Degree related to Early Childhood and/or Elementary Education (considered an asset).
Experience working with young children in a school setting is preferred.
Workshops and training during the summer of 2025 will be required.
