Geronimo Hospitality Group, an award‑winning boutique hospitality group, is looking for a Dishwasher to support our food operations at Charmant Hotel.
About the role As a Dishwasher, you will sort, wash, and return dishes and utensils to kitchen and banquet areas. You will expedite clean items to the cook line as needed and help maintain a clean, safe working environment.
Key responsibilities
Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes in a timely fashion as they enter the dishroom.
Soak and scrub dishes that require heavy cleaning.
Remain focused on designated tasks during prime service hours.
Assist with chopping and preparing food when the station is ready.
Keep your workstation clean and organized.
Practice safe knife handling; seek training from the Chef if needed.
Scrape, sort, and load the dishwasher.
Return all cleaned dishes, glassware, etc. to the proper locations.
Maintain basic preventative maintenance of dishwashing equipment and communicate with the Sous Chef and Executive Chef when issues arise.
Perform trash removal as needed.
Perform other food preparation duties as directed by the Sous or Executive Chef.
Open and close the kitchen properly and follow the opening/closing checklist for kitchen stations. Assist others in closing the kitchen. Do not leave until a manager has inspected your station.
Maintain a positive attitude and be ready to help create a positive experience for our guests.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
You are at least 16 years of age.
Previous kitchen experience is preferred, but not mandatory.
U.S. work authorization is required.
