Job Information Provides a variety of secretarial, clerical and administrative support duties for departments, functional groups and/or Executives. Manage the administrative activities of a department, functional group and/or area including managing, overseeing inquiry and data entry, running reports and office services. Acts as liaison to automation dept. for sales, production, warehouse, expeditors, and shop.
Key Responsibilities
Manages vendor selection, pricing, and delivery of branch services such as office supplies
Initiates routine and some non-routine correspondence
Collaborates and partners with peers within business and other functions
Schedules meetings, team meetings and events (internal only). Maintains up-to-date calendar
Maintains and orders department office supplies
Manages visitors in the Automation lobby
Reviews new orders and vendor purchase orders for entry errors
Prepares order folders for all automation orders that will go through assembly/machine shop
Maintain production spreadsheet, send memos, general correspondence, reports, and machine shop log
Managing multiple orders in an effective and organized manner
Understanding warehouse receiving/shipping procedures

Qualifications
HS Diploma or GED required
Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel is a must)
3-5 years related clerical/administrative experience
Customer service experience
Oral and written communication skills
Telephone etiquette
Customer service
Excellent follow-up and organizational skills
The ability to "self-start" and work independently
Computer literacy

Work Environment This role operates in a professional office environment with flexibility for hybrid work. Standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and printers are used. Occasional visits to warehouses or operational sites may be required.
