The TownePlace Suites Latham is seeking a Full-Time Front Desk Agent to join their team! We’re centrally located near Saratoga Race Course, RPI, SUNY Albany, Siena College and downtown Albany is only 10 miles south. The hotel has 114 pet‑friendly rooms, including studios, 1‑ and 2‑bedroom suites with fully equipped kitchens, free Wi‑Fi and smart TVs. An indoor heated pool and fitness center are also available.
Responsibilities
Welcome guests, complete check‑in/check‑out procedures through the property‑management system while obtaining and storing pertinent information.
Handle cash, credit‑card information and goods at the property.
Identify the needs of each guest and provide relevant information regarding hotel services and amenities; respond to all guest requests in a timely manner.
Take reservations from incoming callers, input all information into the hotel‑management system, and update or cancel reservations as requested.
Typical schedule: Evening shifts 3 PM – 11 PM; weekend availability required and flexible scheduling.
Qualifications
Customer‑service experience, preferably in a hotel setting.
Marriott experience is a plus.
High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
Computer knowledge including intranet, property‑management system, WORD, and EXCEL.
Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving history.
