Lead Toddler Teacher
to join our early childhood education team. Our toddler classroom is an exciting, energetic space where children begin building independence, language skills, and social-emotional foundations. If you love working with toddlers and want to lead a classroom where play, exploration, and learning come together, we’d love to meet you. Key Responsibilities
Lead the toddler classroom and maintain a
safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate
learning environment. Plan and implement engaging daily activities that support language development, early learning, and hands-on exploration. Model positive behavior and guide assistant teachers to ensure consistency and quality. Support toddler routines such as meals, diapering/toileting, transitions, and rest time. Communicate daily with families about progress, milestones, and classroom experiences. Ensure compliance with
Virginia licensing standards
and center policies. Qualifications
High school diploma required . Previous toddler classroom or childcare experience is required. Strong understanding of toddler development and age-appropriate practices. CPR/First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain). Reliable, patient, and enthusiastic about early childhood education. Why Join Our Team
